Welcome to Dacob Paine Studios! 

My swirly style is unique and can not be found anywhere else in the world.  It is a form of painting that I have created without any direct derivation from another style, school or artistic principle.

I digitally paint thought-poems, lyrical tales, vivid statements and dramatic conflicts.  Each piece is entitled to elicit a response from the viewer and to provide a disembarkation point for consideration.

I work solely via a process of mixing many semi-transparent layers
into a final piece that speaks through the contrasts and parings of its component elements.

I work because the Universe is inherently beautiful.  Without my muse I would have nothing to paint.

I feel my work is not mine so much as it is simply an expression of the ageless creativity of Life itself.
