My swirly style is unique and can not be found anywhere else in the world. It is a form of painting that I have created without any direct derivation from another style, school or artistic principle.
I digitally paint thought-poems, lyrical tales, vivid statements and dramatic conflicts. Each piece is entitled to elicit a response from the viewer and to provide a disembarkation point for consideration.
I work solely via a process of mixing many semi-transparent layers
into a final piece that speaks through the contrasts and parings of its component elements.
I work because the Universe is, in my opinion, inherently beautiful. Without my muse, I would have nothing to paint. Thus I feel my work - my paintings - are not mine so much as they are simply an expression of the ageless creativity of Life itself.
The extent to which I succeed in channeling the creative will of the Universe into a static creation is how I will calculate the final tally of what I have contributed to this world during my lifetime.
